Dell’s Inspiron laptop is the cornerstone of their consumer line, coming in at low prices with performance that is always acceptable, if not spectacular. The Inspiron 15 is a solid example. In our review, writer Mark Knapp noted that it was “a peppy-enough and affordable-enough home or remote work machine,” with praise for its solid battery life, port selection and 120Hz display refresh rate. Dell markets many of their gaming-centric releases under their Alienware brand, and while you can expect to pay a premium, they deliver performance to match. In our review, writer Matthew Buzzi says the machine is “one of the best-built and best-performing 16-inch gaming laptops available,” thanks to its top-notch design, excellent connectivity options and solid internals. This deal gets you an AMD Ryzen 9 7000 Series processor, a GeForce RTX 4080 GPU, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD.

If you’re the kind of person who works with a laptop from various locations, a docking station is a must-buy accessory. One of the deepest Dell Black Friday discounts we’ve seen so far is the WD19S docking station, which lets you network your portable up to tons more peripherals than its paltry port selection would normally allow. Alienware always does a solid job with their gaming PCs, and the Aurora R16 is a tremendous competitor. In our review, writer Charles Jefferies said that the release “marks a new chapter for the Alienware brand” with a subtler design that features exceptional airflow and extendibility. It runs whisper-quiet even while handling the latest and greatest games. Dell has a few different configurations on sale for Black Friday, but this one is overall the best bet: a mighty 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900F processor, 32GB of RAM, a GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER graphics card and a 1TB SSD.
