itel has finally unveiled the follow-up to the S23+ with the S25 Ultra in the Philippines. Aside from boasting a curved AMOLED display like its predecessor, the S25 Ultra boasts a thin 6.9mm body, making it the most affordable slim phone to date. The 6.78-inch AMOLED panel still has a Full HD+ resolution, but peak brightness is slightly better at 1400nits.
Despite being slimmer than the S23+, the S25 Ultra gains better protection with the use of Gorilla Glass 7i for the front, along with its TitanShield protection for the back. This makes the S25 Ultra more durable against drops, and is also water resistant as well with its IP64 rating. You still get a 5000mAh battery inside, and the S25 Ultra remains to be light at only 163 grams.
Aside from a sleek design and a premium display, the S25 Ultra gets a 50-megapixel rear camera and 32-megapixel front camera, with the latter capable of shooting videos at up to 2k resolution. When it comes to performance, the S25 Ultra is powered by a Unisoc T620 processor that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It gets updated WiFi tech that offers improved connectivity and better user experience.
The itel S25 Ultra is priced at Php 7,999 in the Philippines, but you can get it for Php 7,499 at its launch on November 10. Meanwhile, the standard S25 is priced at Php 6,199.
