Italian luxury fashion brand Moncler teams up with Chinese artist Lulu Li for an innovative clothing collection as part of its City of Genius project—a creative initiative uniting ten visionary collaborators featuring names like Rick Owens, Nigo, and A$AP Rocky. Li’s capsule collection, inspired by her experiments with artificial intelligence, reimagines Moncler’s signature silhouettes with futuristic aesthetics, blending technology with fashion. The lineup includes down jackets, vests, and versatile city-ready layers, all described as being crafted ‘from bits to atoms,’ embodying a merge of digital inspiration with physical craftsmanship.

An Immersive Journey from Digital Pixels to Wearable Art

 

Presented by the renowned Italian fashion brand, the Moncler x Lulu Li Project collection is showcased in an immersive installation featuring a one-way mirror that plays with light, reflection, and perception, embodying Lulu Li’s transformation of digital pixels into wearable art. Curated by the Chinese artist, designer, and creative director the space bridges celestial and earthly elements with a luminous, endlessly reflective mirror set as its centerpiece. The collection combines bold digital forms with minimalist Zen aesthetics, featuring puffy silhouettes in soft ivory and cream tones, glossy black outerwear, and hybrid pieces that blend modern workwear and casualwear.

The City Of Genius: How do you live genius?

 

 

As part of Shanghai Fashion Week, Moncler introduced The City of Genius, an immersive experience designed to promote global creativity, encouraging participants to explore the question: How do you live Genius? The City of Genius was conceived as a space for creative communities to engage with innovative concepts where luxury, art, design, and entertainment intersect. Covering 30,000 square meters, the installation featured distinct neighborhoods that showcase new collections and experiences co-created by a diverse lineup of global creative visionaries, including Edward Enninful, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Donald Glover, Lulu Li, Nigo, A$AP Rocky, Willow Smith, Rick Owens, and Jil Sander.
