The Republic of Ireland are easing into the Playoff Final for next summer’s Women’s European Championships.
Captain Katie McCabe, Julie-Ann Russell, and Kyra Carusa all scored to give Ireland a 3-0 win against Georgia at Tallaght Stadium.
McCabe also missed a penalty, but Eileen Gleeson’s team won 9-0 on aggregate in the tie.
In the other playoff semi-final – where Ireland will face the winners – Wales lead 2-0 in extra time against Slovakia.
Jessica Fishlock gave Wales the lead, and it is currently 3-2 on aggregate as the game is nearing the end of extra time.
