Another year of the Ballon d’Or award have come to a close, with Manchester City’s Rodri pipping Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. to the main award.

There were five Serie A representatives on the 30-player shortlist for the main award, including two from Inter, two from Roma and one from Atalanta.

Carlo Ancelotti went home with the coach of the year award, beating compatriot Gian Piero Gasperini of Atalanta.
