At the heart of the Aurès massifs, the University of KHENCHELA presents an innovative multidisciplinary project. The university has now more than 11,335 students, 770 lecturers and 600 administrative and technical staff, spread over six faculties: faculty of science and technology, faculty of social and human sciences, faculty of economics, commercial and management sciences, faculty of natural and life sciences, faculty of letters and languages, and the faculty of law and political science. The university measures its performance through its impact on the environment by participating in the instruction ofteachers, researchers and managerial staffs for administrations and companies.
The university offers through its faculties 44 bachelor degrees, 42 masters and several doctoral formations backed by 19 approved research laboratories.
