Xiaomi 15 series and Xiaomi HyperOS2 new product launch event is scheduled for October 29th at 19:00. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra production version car will also be announced at the event.
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra production version is now available for reservation on the official website of Xiaomi Cars, where users can choose their preferred store, but no further information has been disclosed.
At the new product launch event in July this year, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun officially unveiled the most powerful version of Xiaomi SU7 – the SU7 Ultra prototype car, and announced a challenge to the non-production lap time list in October this year, and will officially challenge the Nurburgring production lap time list in 2025.
Lei Jun revealed in August this year that the mass-produced version of Xiaomi SU7 Ultra will meet everyone in the first quarter of next year. Lei Jun stated that Xiaomi will consider equipping a new driver mode when the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra leaves the factory, and if the owner wants to unleash the full performance of the vehicle, they need to pass exams step by step to unlock it.
In addition, the mass-produced version of Xiaomi SU7 Ultra adopts the same chassis structure, three motors, and battery pack as the prototype car. However, due to high costs, it will not use a full carbon design. Regarding the price of Xiaomi SU7 Ultra’s mass-produced version, Lei Jun mentioned that it is a bit expensive but not particularly expensive.
According to Goldman Sachs’ forecast in early October: Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is expected to sell 4,000 units next year at an average selling price of about 800,000 RMB yuan each unit and contribute 5% of company’s electric vehicle revenue.
