We’re heading on another European roadtrip this weekend as I round up some of my favourite tips from the games not covered in our extensive match predictions section.
The result? A tasty 20/1 accumulator starting at Saturday lunchtime in the historic city of Valladolid before we take a journey through Naples, Leipzig, and Reims before touching down in our final destination of Breda in the Netherlands.
Back our 20/1 European Roadtrip here!
Valladolid vs Villarreal – Both teams to score at 8/13
Real Valladolid managed to pick up their first win since the opening day of the season last weekend in a five-goal thriller at Alaves, but despite their poor form, goalscoring has not been much of an issue for Saturday’s hosts in recent weeks.
They have only failed to score in one of their last six games and they face a Villarreal side that have conceded in all ten La Liga assignments this season, with the visitors finding the net in nine of those matches.
Their sole failure to score came away to Real Madrid, so it would be a surprise to see them shut out by a struggling Valladolid outfit.
Napoli vs Lecce – Napoli to win to nil at 10/11
Napoli’s 1-0 win at Empoli last weekend leaves them top of the Serie A table after eight games and they can retain top spot with a comfortable win against a struggling Lecce side.
The visitors, who sit 19th in the ladder, have a goal difference of -15 and have the worst attacking record in the top flight, scoring just three goals in eight assignments.
They have failed to score in their last four games in all competitions and visit a Napoli side that have conceded only two goals in their last eight competitive affairs.
RB Leipzig vs Freiburg – Freiburg double chance at 11/10
RB Leipzig fell to a bruising Champions League defeat at home to Liverpool in midweek and the fatigue from that match could make them vulnerable against an impressive Freiburg outfit.
The visitors’ 3-1 win over Augsburg last time out means they have won six of their eight competitive games this season and three of their four away games, while RB Leipzig have only won one of their last four at the Red Bull Arena.
Reims vs Brest – BTTS at 7/10
Reims may be a decent sixth in Ligue 1, but they are yet to keep a clean sheet this season and have shipped 12 times in eight games.
They have only failed to score once, though, while Brest have scored in nine of their 11 competitive outings but have conceded 14 goals in eight league assignments.
Both teams have found the net in five of the last six meetings between this pair and the same is expected on Saturday.
NAC Breda vs RKC Waalwijk – NAC Breda to win at 19/20
RKC Waalwijk are rock bottom of the Eredivisie table with one point from a possible 27 and a ninth defeat of the season is expected on Saturday evening.
They have lost all four of their away games by an aggregate scoreline of 13-3 and face an NAC Breda side that beat Ajax at home earlier this season.
That was the first of three victories in four attempts on home soil and they head into this tie on a three-match winning streak in the Eredivisie.
