Collingwood head of list management Justin Leppitsch admits his club is finished trading for this year after the Dan Houston deal but still has eyes on some free agent signings.
Leppitsch has confirmed the Magpies are talking with St Kilda forward Tim Membrey and plan to meet with Melbourne defender Adam Tomlinson once trade period finishes tonight.
“It’s a possibility, we’re talking with Tim now,” Leppitsch told AFL trade radio.
“We’re going to take him through a medical and those sorts of things.
“But we do have a spot for some experience on our list and he’s in the conversation for that.”
On Tomlinson, Leppitsch thinks he could add some depth and experience.
“He’s in that mix because we want some experience in that final (list) position,” Leppitsch told AFL trade radio.
But Leppitsch did rule out any move for Brisbane’s Deven Robertson.
“We’re not into Deven. We’re out of the trade space now,” Leppitsch told AFL trade radio.
“We won’t be trading for anybody else for the rest of the trade period.”
