Daniel Regha Slams Dangote Refinery’s N970 Fuel Price Reduction, Demands N300 Maximum

Daniel Regha, a Nigerian social media influencer has criticized the Dangote Refinery’s recent fuel price reduction.

Regha took to his verified X account on Sunday to call for a more significant price cut, urging the refinery to lower its price to a maximum of N300 per litre.

Regha’s comments came in response to the refinery’s decision to reduce fuel prices to N970 per litre.

While acknowledging the cut, he argued that the new price remains too high to offer substantial relief to Nigerians facing economic challenges.

He suggested that a price of N300 per litre would better reflect the refinery’s appreciation for the public’s support.

Regha further pointed out that the N970 price still primarily benefits the refinery’s profit margins rather than addressing the economic struggles of ordinary Nigerians.

“Dangote Refinery should reduce their petro price to N300 maximum, if they want to repay or thank Nigerians for their support because N970 per litre is on a high side, literally changes nothing, and shows that it’s all about making profit,” Daniel stated.
