ForbesToday’s NYT Mini Crossword Clues And Answers For Wednesday, November 20th

It’s Thursday—the final Thursday before Thanksgiving and all the feasting that entials. It’s also time to solve today’s Mini Crossword!

The NYT Mini is a smaller, quicker, more digestible, bite-sized version of the larger and more challenging NYT Crossword, and unlike its larger sibling, it’s free-to-play without a subscription to The New York Times. You can play it on the web or the app, though you’ll need the app to tackle the archive.

Spoilers ahead!

ACROSS

1 — Man of few words? — MIME

5 — Absolutely love — ADORE

7 — Bit of a headwear with gems on it — TIARA

8 — Your ___ (words addressing a judge) — HONOR

9 — Roof goop — TAR

DOWN

1 — Class in which you’ll encounter lots of problems — MATH

2 — “American ___” (Green Day’s 2004 punk rock opera) — IDIOT

3 — Disney heroine with an upcoming November sequel — MOANA

4 — An editor might catch one — ERROR

6 — Cochlea’s place — EAR

This was basically a breeze today. I wasn’t sure about 1-Across but I knew the rest of the Across and enough Downs to fill in 6-Down, which I still don’t know. I took 1:01 today.

How did you do? Let me know on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.

If you also play Wordle, I write guides about that as well. You can find those and all my TV guides, reviews and much more here on my blog. Thanks for reading!
