my phone stopped transferring data to my new one because of private relay

need help on this. my wifi kinda fucks up at times and when i checked my phones again they stopped transferring data because of it. I tried restarting my old phone but no prompt shows up anymore. my new one is just stuck on "Move Device Closer to Continue" and if i cancel the data transfer im scared some of my data will get erased since i already see that my old sim transferred into an e-sim on the new phone.
