香港首階段管制即棄膠餐具及產品條例的適應期將於下周一（21日）屆滿。綠色和平發布《東亞河岸垃圾審計調查——香港》結果，發現從本地兩條具重要生態價值的河岸收集到的3263件垃圾，當中97%為塑膠，食品、物流、飲品及即棄餐具4大類包裝垃圾佔70%；大部分飲品包裝垃圾源自大型飲品生產商。 研究團隊選定生態價值高的河岸作調查地點，以記錄來自城市的塑膠垃圾落入河岸的污染實況。團隊與參與調查的義工於今年6月至9月，分別在林村河及貝澳河的上、中、下游進行10場河岸清理，再按垃圾的物料、類型進行分類，發現即棄塑膠包裝（食品、物流、飲料）及即棄餐具等4個類別佔所有塑膠垃圾近70%。 綠色和平項目主任譚穎琳表示，即棄塑膠包裝、餐具等被棄置到環境，很可能分裂成微塑膠入侵生態系統及食物鏈，威脅人類健康，但政府側重撥款予末端回收、興建焚化爐等，規管企業生產即棄膠的進展緩慢，變相令社會承擔的高昂廢物處置費及環境成本，不少是為企業生產的廢膠「埋單」。 綠色和平促請政府改善「塑膠飲料容器生產者責任計劃」，建議回收一個膠樽，可以回贈一毫的方案，指如果以一元作為回贈起點，回收率可以推高至七成以上。另建議應加快訂立「飲品包裝生產者責任制」，要求生產商公布產生的即棄產品數量，同時增加重用率，從源頭減少即棄包裝。 下載HKET App，追蹤TOPick WhatsApp頻道，睇全方位資訊： 【中下學試題免費下載】 【名校專區升學攻略】 【食物安全超市大搜查】 【職場智慧求生術】 回收一個膠樽，可以回贈一毫的方案，指如果以一元作為回贈起點，回收率可以推高至七成以上。同時，應加快訂立「飲品包裝生產者責任制」，要求生產商公布產生的即棄產品數量，同時增加重用率，從源頭減少即棄包裝。 Source link
