In a perfect world, everyone would have to pass a test to prove they are worthy of having children. The fact that anyone can become a parent, without any requirements or supervision, is quite honestly insane.
In that perfect world, where parents have to prove their capabilities to become parents, they would actually have a good relationship with their kids. And who wouldn’t want to have that? A healthy and happy relationship with their kids?
Since we are not living in a perfect world, parents like those in this Reddit story exist, and people like OP (original poster) have to stand up to them. In the case here, OP stood up to his narcissistic parents after they mocked his niece, their granddaughter, about her weight. This behavior made OP recall some of his bad memories from his parents, so he decided to finally put them in their place. He did so by making them sleep in his garage, as they were all staying in his place, just like they did to him when he was a child.
