The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology has again ranked among the top 30 globally and first in Hong Kong in the “Times Higher Education Global University Employability Ranking 2025.”
The university was voted 24th in the world, indicating a five-place increase, and retained its crown within universities in Hong Kong in employability for 12 consecutive years among 250 universities across 42 countries in the rankings, which reveals which universities top companies think are best at preparing students for the workplace.
HKUST said it is “pleased” with the results. “To cultivate outstanding and internationally-minded graduates, HKUST actively collaborates with over 240 global exchange partners and works closely with large companies to enhance students’ global experiences through exchanges and internships.”
”Currently, approximately 1,100 students go abroad or to the mainland for exchanges each academic year, accounting for over 40% of a graduating class,” it said.
The university pledged to continue to advance teaching, research and industry collaboration.
