1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 4-Speed

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 was delivered new to Model Garage of Middletown, Maryland, and spent approximately 40 years in the state before being refurbished in 2003. Finished in Hugger Orange with white stripes over a black vinyl Deluxe interior, the car is powered by a 302ci V8 linked with a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission and a PosiTraction differential with 4.10:1 gearing. Equipment includes front and rear spoilers, front bucket seats, a cowl induction hood, Custom Autosound stereo, woodgrain interior trim, front disc brakes, and 15″ Rally wheels. The car was initially acquired by the selling dealer in 2023 and subjected to a mechanical refresh that included repainting the engine, rebuilding the carburetor, and replacing the camshaft, cylinder heads, exhaust system, rear main seal, clutch, and water pump. Reacquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this Z/28 is now offered with an NCRS Shipping Data Report, a Jerry MacNeish certificate of authenticity, a Protect-O-Plate, service records, awards, spare parts, and a clean Massachusetts title.

The car was factory-finished in Hugger Orange with white stripes (72) and was repainted as part of the 2003 refurbishment. Exterior details include front and rear spoilers, dual exhaust outlets, and Z/28 badging. An ownership history document in the gallery describes damage while under the care of the original owner, who then added a cowl induction hood and black grill. The cowl induction hood was made operable by the selling dealer in 2023. Additional work at that time included installing an antenna and replacing the front spoiler, door vapor barriers, and quarter window seals.

Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The primary cylinder cover was replaced in 2023 along with a brake booster hose.
