I’m not even a huge football fan, but I like watching a good game and these days is getting ridiculous. Referees are relying too much on technology, like VAR, to make decisions. It's like they're losing their own judgment. Now, we’re seeing players called offside for the tiniest of margins, like a fingernail being a fraction of an inch ahead of a defender. Is this really what football is about? It's taking the fun and excitement out of the game. If technology can decide every call to pixel-perfect accuracy, why do we even need referees? We might as well just let computers run the whole game. Football is supposed to be about passion, excitement, and human error. It's about the thrill of a close call and the debate that follows. Let’s bring the human element back to the sport. We need referees to make tough calls based on their judgment, not just follow a computer screen.
