This 1977 Jeep Wagoneer has been repainted tan and is powered by a 360ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a Quadra-Trac transfer case. It rides on 15″ steel wheels and is equipped with faux woodgrain trim, side steps, and a power-sliding tailgate window along with power steering and front disc brakes. The interior is appointed with low-back front bucket seats trimmed in brown vinyl with patterned cloth inserts as well as a heater, air conditioning, and an AM radio. The selling dealer acquired the vehicle in 2024, and subsequent work involved replacing the carburetor, fuel tank, headliner, and shocks. This SJ Wagoneer is now offered with a clean New York title.
The Wagoneer came finished from the factory in Sand Tan (6D) and was repainted in its factory shade under prior ownership, per the selling dealer. It features faux woodgrain trim as well as a chrome-finished grille, bumpers, and bodyside moldings. Additional exterior details include a power-sliding tailgate window, side steps, dual side mirrors, and chrome window visors. The receiver hitch on the rear bumper does not have a tow ball. Rust is present in the door jambs and the woodgrain trim is mismatched on the left-rear door. Photos provided in the gallery show bubbling and chipped paint on various body panels.
The 15″ steel wheels with Jeep-branded covers and are mounted with 225/75 Diamond Back Auburn tires. The shocks were replaced at each corner in September 2024, and the truck is equipped with power steering as well as power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.
The low-back front bucket seats and the rear bench are trimmed in brown vinyl with patterned cloth inserts, and they are joined by color-coordinated door cards and carpets. The headliner was replaced in September 2024, and the cabin is further appointed with a fold-down front console, air conditioning, a heater, a dash-mounted digital clock, an AM radio, and an FM radio tuner, which is disconnected.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 46k miles, approximately 300 miles were added by the selling dealer. The fuel-level gauge is inoperative.
The 360ci V8 was factory rated at 130 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. Work in September 2024 involved replacing the carburetor along with the fuel tank, sending unit, and filter. An MSD ignition coil has been installed.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a Quadra-Trac transfer case. Corrosion is visible on underside components.
