Spain floods: Cleanup efforts enter 5th day as weather agency sounds fresh alert

Cleanup efforts across flood-stricken Valencia have entered their fifth day with tens of thousands of volunteers handing over to professionals to do the “heavy-lifting with heavy machinery”, FRANCE 24’s Antonia Kerrigan said, reporting from the Spanish region. Meanwhile the national meteorological agency on Sunday issued a fresh warning for heavy downpours in the region.
