A gang of brazen home invaders remain on the run after a man was assaulted inside his Silver Sands home.
The resident, aged in his 50s, received injuries to his head after several burglars busted into a property on Seawind Drive and assaulted him on Saturday afternoon.
WA Police were called to the home around 3.55pm before the resident was located at the scene injured.
It is reported a weapon may have been used in the assault.
Police believe there were multiple offenders involved in the attack, who all remained on the run 24 hours later.
The man was transported to Peel Health Campus by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
