My client, Brenda, was ready elevate her bob for something a little more sophisticated, versatile and chic.

Brenda has fine hair, which has been feeling less dense and shapeless as of late. It was previously highlighted and was ready for a little brightening and a good cut. To lighten up her colour, I applied partial foil highlights using a gentle, silk infused lightener to create a cool and creamy tonality.

I cleansed her hair with Oribe Serene Scalp Oil Control Shampoo and conditioned with Oirbe Bright Blonde Conditioner, to restore brightness and shine to her hair. I then sprayed the mid-lengths and ends with Oribe Run-Through Detangling Primer for added hydration. To create this shorter asymmetrical cut, I eliminated several inches from her length, creating a cropped, graduated and textured silhouette. Not only is this look stylish and relevant, it makes her fine hair look and feel thicker and fuller. It offers great style versatility and more body and movement.

Before styling I applied Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray for thermal protection and body building to help create volume in hair. I blow dried her hair using a vent brush and switched to a round brush to create her side sweep. To finish her style, I used Oribe Flash Form Finishing Spray Wax for weightless and buildable texture.

Makeup

To create a natural glowing complexion for Brenda, I used a priming balm to even and smooth out her skin then lightly dusted her face with bronzer. For easy and effortless application, I used an eyeshadow pencil on her eyelid, in a copper brown shade, to enhance her eye colour. I filled in her eyebrows to frame her face and applied her favourite lip gloss to complete the look.
