Well-known farmer-comedian Jim Smith and popular local musicians, Peter Morrison and Seamus MacLennan, will take to the stage on Skye this December for an unforgettable night of music and laughter.
The event, aimed at Skye farmers and crofters, is the first of a planned island #KeepTalking tour this winter in partnership with Scottish agricultural support charity RSABI.
RSABI’s #KeepTalking initiative aims to encourage those living and working in Scottish agricultural communities to reach out and connect with friends, family and neighbours and look after their own mental health.
As the nights draw in, the gig will be an opportunity to relax and connect with friends and family while enjoying a combination of comedy and great music and supporting RSABI, as 10% of each £20 ticket sale will go towards supporting the work of the charity, the organisers confirmed.

Wonderful evening filled with music, laughter and fun
Jim Smith, comedian and #KeepTalking ambassador, said: “It’s great to be hosting this gig in partnership with RSABI. As a farmer myself, I know how isolating it can be, and I am very aware of the importance of speaking to one another.
“Having been an RSABI ambassador for four years, I understand the need for the vital work RSABI carries out daily and how significant it is to our farming communities.
“I’m excited to be performing alongside Peter and Seamus and looking forward to a wonderful evening filled with both music, laughter and fun.”
Carol McLaren, chief executive of RSABI, added: “Many thanks to Jim, Peter and Seamus for providing what promises to be an excellent evening of entertainment, as well as an opportunity for farmers, crofters and others to get together.
“We know that the winter months can be long and for some this can be a time of year which can feeling challenging so we hope the night on Skye will be a great opportunity to get out and get together.”
Jim Smith will be performing alongside Peter Morrison and Seamus MacLennan on Saturday 7th December at LAS, Isle of Skye Candle Co. Visitor Centre, Portree.
Tickets cost £20, plus booking fee, with 10% donated to RSABI, and can be purchased via Eventbrite.
More information on the event and ticket purchase can be found on the RSABI website.
