Alibaba.com Business Edge Credit Card Review 2024

Alibaba.com Business Edge Credit Card* vs. Ink Business Premier® Credit Card

Big-spending businesses that prioritize earning rewards over financing terms should look to the Ink Business Premier® Credit Card. For a similar $195 annual fee, the card earns 5% cash back on travel purchased through Chase Travel℠, 2.5% cash back on purchases of $5,000 or more and 2% cash back on all other purchases. There’s no cap on the rewards, so your earning potential is only limited by how much you spend.

The Ink Business Premier Card also offers a number of valuable benefits, including cellphone protection, purchase protection for up to 120 days, and extended warranty coverage. You can use your rewards for cash back, a statement credit, to book travel or to buy gift cards. You don’t get the financing offer or the coupons that the Alibaba card offers, but you also don’t have different earning rates for different areas of spending.

Alibaba.com Business Edge Credit Card* vs. Signify Business Cash℠ Card by Wells Fargo*

The Signify Business Cash℠ Card by Wells Fargo* is another option for generous, uncapped earnings of 2% cash rewards on business purchases, but without an annual fee, so it’s all rewards right away, without having to earn enough back to cover the carrying cost.

The Signify Business Card also has a 0% intro APR on purchases for the first 12 months from account opening, followed by a 17.99% – 25.99% variable APR, which can be helpful for a one-time big buy where you need ample wiggle room to pay it off. Similar to the Alibaba card, it’s a bit light on cardholder perks, but the lack of an annual fee may give it enough of an edge for you, depending on your spending habits. Be aware you must have a personal or business checking or savings account with Wells Fargo to apply for this card online.

Alibaba.com Business Edge Credit Card* vs. U.S. Bank Business Triple Cash Rewards World Elite Mastercard®

The U.S. Bank Business Triple Cash Rewards World Elite Mastercard® earns an unlimited 5% cash back on prepaid hotels and car rentals booked directly in the Rewards Center, 3% cash back on eligible purchases at gas stations and EV charging stations, office supply stores, cellphone service providers and restaurants and 1% cash back on all other eligible net purchases. Depending on how you allocate your spending, this may be more rewarding overall than the rewards on the Alibaba.com card. The U.S. Bank Business Triple Cash Rewards also has no annual fee to compensate for and comes with a generous welcome offer of $750 in cash back after spending $6,000 on the Account Owner’s card in the first 180 days of opening an account. That dwarfs what the Alibaba card offers.

It, too, has an intro offer on purchases of 0% intro APR on purchases for the first 12 billing cycles followed by a variable APR of 18.49% – 27.49%, plus it comes with an annual $100 recurring business software subscription statement credit benefit. It’s not the best choice if the biggest bite in your budget goes toward Alibaba purchases, but if you have more varied spending, it’s worth consideration.
