After unveiling the iMac M4, it is the Mac Mini M4’s time to shine with an all-new design that’s insanely tiny. The Mac Mini M4 measures 5×5 inches, making it extremely compact than its predecessor and sized slightly bigger than the Apple TV.
Despite its diminutive size, the new Mac Mini has more ports to offer. At the back, you have an Ethernet port, an HDMI port, and three USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports. New to the series are two additional USB-C in the front, giving you a total of 5 USB-C ports.
There’s no M3 Mac Mini: instead, Apple went ahead with the M4, which is up to 1.8x faster than the M1. Aside from the regular M4, there’s also an option for an M4 Pro, which has a 20-core GPU and supports up to 64GB RAM. The M4 Pro version also upgrades all USB-C ports to Thunderbolt 5.
The base model starts at 16GB RAM, which is a nice upgrade especially with Apple pushing Apple Intelligence across all its devices.
The Mac Mini starts at Php 36,990 for the M4 version with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage, while the M4 Pro version starts at Php 84,990 and comes with 24GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage. Do note that the pricing is only for the Mac Mini itself, so you’ll need to buy the mouse, keyboard, and display separately.
