DOYLESTOWN, PA — Main St. founder Keith Fenimore is again putting out the challenge: “TP My House!”
For the third year, Fenimore is inviting kids … and adults, too … to grab some rolls of toilet paper, bring them to his house on Mischief Night, and toss away.
Keith and Kristina Fenimore, the founders of Main St. (formerly Pine2Pine), are again sacrificing their home – and their trees and their cars – to raise funds for breast cancer patients by encouraging everyone in the community – the young and the old – to come out and toilet paper their home at 71 Oak Drive (cross street Turk Road).
The legal “Mischief Night For A Cause” will unfold on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
“Bring your own rolls of toilet paper and for a $5 donation per roll, you can toilet paper my car. you can toilet paper my trees. And you can toilet paper my garage, my fence, and my house,” said Keith. “I’m giving you license to be bad, all for Main St. and our local breast cancer patients.”
Here’s how it works. For a $5 donation, you can toss a roll of toilet paper at the house or into the trees. After the first roll is used up, there’s an additional $5 per roll charge. Participants must bring their own roll (or rolls) to the event. The non-profit will accept cash, credit or checks at the event. And no part of their property will be off limits.
“I am always pushing the envelope and trying to find new innovative ways to turn heads and get people to engage with our mission,” said Keith, who is sacrificing his property to raise funds for breast cancer patients.
To set the vibe for these sanctioned mischievous activities, the Fenimore’s have invited the
Doylestown School of Rock to perform in their driveway. The Spuddy Buddy Fry Truck will also be there offering fries.
“The fact that Mischief Night is the last place a typical non-profit would look to incorporate into a fundraiser, is the exact reason I was compelled to do it. I am not a fan of the ordinary,” said
Fenimore.
“When you run a non-profit, part of the mix-to-success is being able to grab people’s attention and inspire them to get involved. I want to unearth a younger demographic of donor and in this case, I am willing to sacrifice my roof and trees and infuse a little fun-controlled chaos to
get it done.”
