DAVIS, CA — Does your pet look at you like it’s being tortured when you take it to the vet? There’s an online option for Davis pet owners.
The East Bay SPCA now offers telemedicine service through its Theodore B. Travers Family Veterinary Clinic, offering pet owners an affordable and convenient way to access care from home.
It is available to all California residents.
Services include consultations for prescription preventatives, anxiety medications, and more.
“Thanks to our new telemedicine program, we have been able to increase access to care and decrease fear and stress felt by pets and their people,” said Kristen Beitzel, VP of Medical Services at East Bay SPCA.
Appointments are available Monday through Friday.

- Video and Audio is required for the appointment.
- Individuals with the animal must be over the age of 18 and authorized to make medical decisions for the animal.
- Those who need a translator must have someone with them who can provide native language to English translations.
