Hi all,
I'm about 100 pages into the first book of The First Law trilogy and loving every minutes of it. Normally I'm not a big fan of the fantasy genres, only read LotR, ASOIAF, and past the first book of the Stormlight Archive saga (probably got downvoted to hell for this I felt the book was great in world-building but really devoid of the meaningful actions).
Anyway, I've recently got into a reading slump (almost 3 months for a 350-page read) and wanted to something truly captivating to pull me right through. The First Law was perfect for the task. (or so far at least). I intent to finish the whole series, but saw there are several standalone books in The First Law universe, so is it worth to pick those up as well?
Also, after this, I'm looking into some medieval non-fiction history books, any suggestions?
Thank you.
