South Korea says that North Korea is sending soldiers to help Russia fight in Ukraine.
South Korea says that 1,500 North Korean soldiers are already in Russia. More could join soon. Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelensky thinks that up to 10,000 North Korean soldiers can go to Russia soon.
North Korea is also sending guns to Russia. Western countries are worried about this. But Russia and North Korea deny it. NATO does not say yet what is happening. But South Korea’s president already asks for help from the international community to help with the situation.
Difficult words: soldier (a person who fights in a war), deny (to say that something is not true), international community (the countries in the world considered as one group).
