Malaysia wife cares for bedridden hubby for 6 years jilted after his recovery

A Malaysian man, who had been bedridden for six years following a car accident and received devoted care from his wife during that entire time, divorced her and remarried another woman after his recovery.

While the wife graciously congratulated her ex-husband publicly, netizens heavily criticised him, labelling him as “ungrateful and heartless”.

Nurul Syazwani married the man in 2016, and after two years of a long-distance marriage, he was involved in a car accident that left him incapacitated for six years, as reported by Sin Chew Daily.

During his recovery, Syazwani assumed the role of his primary caregiver with remarkable dedication. Her daily routine involved feeding him through a nasogastric tube, changing his diapers, and assisting him with bathing.

In 2019, she began sharing her caregiving experiences on social media, which not only gained her attention but also helped her amass over 32,000 followers on Facebook.

Syazwani recalled: “At that time, I was terrified whenever he coughed. I performed rehabilitation for him every day, and my family came to assist me daily, allowing me to rest.”
