If that isn’t impressive enough, you get options too—you can adjust how much AI power you want involved in the removal process, from automatic to manual modes.

This is where it gets even more exciting—Generative Fill allows users to create entire parts of an image by typing a simple prompt.

We’ve seen this kind of technology around for a while now, but Adobe’s iteration of it is something else. In my opinion, it’s just the right amount of clean.

Whether you want to add new elements to an image or remove parts without significantly altering the original visual, this tool does a wonderful job while maintaining realistic lighting, shadows, and perspective.

• Need a pink flamingo flying in the background? Done.
• Want to fill in parts of a photo that weren’t captured? Consider it finished, my creative friend.

Adobe’s results are more varied, accurate, and applicable for professional and commercial projects.

This feature is a wonder for creators working on anything from nature photography to detailed product shots. What used to take hours (if not days) of detailed work can now be done in minutes.

Generative Expand takes resizing to a new level. Have you ever framed a shot, only to realize the main subject is slightly off-center? Or maybe you wish you could expand the background to fit a different aspect ratio? This second question, by the way, is something I hear a lot from friends who function as all-in-one social media pros.

Another highlight I can’t wait to enjoy more is Generative Shape Fill, which improves your ability to experiment with and manipulate shapes, whether they’re hand-drawn or converted from raster graphics.

If that isn’t enough, Adobe’s AI capabilities also fine-tune image tracing, converting raster images into vectors with fewer anchor points for neater and more detailed results.

If you work on digital layouts a lot like me, then you’ll be thrilled to know InDesign has also been turbocharged with innovative updates.

Features like Generative Expand and Text to Image allow users to edit images directly within their layouts. Need to tweak a photo’s placement or adjust the surrounding content? Its tools won’t even let you break a sweat.

What’s more, designers working on complex projects like textbooks or technical documents will appreciate what the new MathML feature offers. It simplifies the integration of mathematical formulas, providing cleaner, more accessible visuals.

Lastly, all-around creatives who occasionally have to design images themselves will be happy to know that Adobe Express—Adobe’s web-based, drag-and-drop design tool—has also gotten some AI love.

Whether you’re designing a menu, social media post, school poster, or short-form videos, the new Rewrite tool helps you rephrase, shorten, or tweak copy to fit the tone of your design.

I genuinely believe this is such a helpful tool for young startup founders and business owners who don’t have that much cash to work with agencies just yet.

Being able to come up with good designs and write effective copy so seamlessly just makes all the difference in the world.

Animation capabilities are now AI-driven, too, making it easier to animate text, images, or shapes within your design. If you’re tired of just putting out carousels and static posts, GIFs shouldn’t be too challenging to navigate now.
