NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA – Stormwater improvements are planned on Route 332 (Richboro Road) in Newtown and Northampton townships under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 21, and continue through mid-December, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Route 332 (Newtown-Richboro Road) between West Hanover Street and Rock Way in Northampton and Newtown townships for stormwater pipe replacement.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather-dependent.
Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on the project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
