SAN DIEGO, CA — Four people, including two San Diego police officers, were taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after a crash at the intersection of Midway Drive and Barnett Avenue, according to multiple reports that cite authorities.
All were “conscious and breathing at the time of transfer,” FOX 5 San Diego reported.
According to NBC10 San Diego, police said they believe a 27-year-old woman driving a 2024 Honda Accord southbound in the left turn lane hit a police car at a red light after moving into the intersection.

“She suffered a fractured femur and her passenger suffered an orbital fracture, while the officers suffered minor cuts and abrasions,” the outlet reported, adding that ” DUI was a factor” for the woman.
