Facebook Down News Today: On Thursday, the prominent social media app Facebook witnessed a technical snag on the desktop, causing panic among the people who have been using the platform for a long time. However, it is working fine on mobile phones. People were wondering why Facebook was not working.
Meanwhile, people took to X, formerly known as ‘Twitter’, to express their disappointment after ‘Facebook and WhatsApp’ allegedly went down and the news hit the headlines after which people wondered why these were not working.
According to DownDetector, “User reports indicate possible problems at Facebook”. As per the data shared by the website, 81 percent of people faced issues with Facebook’s website, 11 percent faced issues while logging in and 8 percent suffered server issues.
Asking for confirmation, one of the users wrote on X, “Is anybody else’s Facebook acting up?” Likewise, one of the users said, “It’s not your phone or data. Facebook is down.”
