UTK Homecoming Registration is Now LIVE! | Knoxville Chamber

We are less than two months until the UT Homecoming Game versus Mississippi State! Community partners and local businesses are encouraged to participate in the excitement and spirit of Homecoming week. Below you’ll find a theme reveal, how to register, participation opportunities, and more.

Theme Reveal

In case you haven’t happened to be on social media, UT’s theme for Homecoming 2024 is….Neyland Night Lights! This theme is a take on the popular film/TV Series Friday Night Lights and a nod to 90s nostalgia.

Community Partner Homecoming Registration

Homecoming Registration will be done through a Microsoft Form this year and is available for registration starting today! Campus/Community Partners who have previously participated can expect similar parameters around each event with some slight tweaks here and there. Event information for groups who sign up will be sent more details and information/rules in a timely manner.

Homecoming Community Events and Ways to Get Involved

• Parade Participation
  • This is a great opportunity for you to show off your business, hand out swag, and take part in one of UT’s oldest Homecoming traditions. If you do not plan to walk or drive a vehicle, please plan on encouraging your patrons to come out to Volunteer Blvd on November 8th at 4 PM to cheer on your fellow Vols and community partners.

• Paint the Town Orange
  • Knoxville has so many wonderful alumni-owned businesses around town that we would love to see paint windows, display Homecoming posters, give out stickers and more….all for the Vols! If you are able and willing to give out Homecoming information at your business or put up posters, please indicate that when you sign up using the registration form.
• Poster and Information Sharing
  • Helping spread the word of Homecoming to our local community is super important. If you would like to display posters in your windows, have stickers and postcards at your counters, or any other type of display of Homecoming spirit, please register! There is an option to mark down that your interested in having collateral brought your way in the Homecoming registration form.
