vivo has officially unveiled the X200 series in China with a fun twist: aside from the vanilla and Pro model, there’s also an X200 Mini in the lineup, which shows that vivo believes there’s still a market for a compact flagship.
All three models are powered by a Dimensity 9400 processor and boast ZEISS optics. With the Pro models, the X200 Pro Mini has a 6.31-inch 120hz flat AMOLED display, while the X200 Pro comes with a bigger 6.78-inch 120hz quad curved AMOLED display. Both phones feature a variable refresh rate, 4500nits peak brightness, ultrasonic fingerprint scanners, and support for Dolby Vision.
Both phones impress with huge batteries: the X200 Pro Mini has a 5700mAh battery, while the X200 Pro has a 6000mAh battery. Both phones support 90w wired and 30w wireless charging.
Both phones carry the same triple rear camera setup with ZEISS T* optics and vivo’s V3+ ISP. The main shooter is a 1/1.28-inch LYT818 sensor with an f/1.57 aperture, while the telephoto camera is a 200-megapixel sensor with ZEISS APO optics, 85mm focal length equivalent (3.7x zoom), and a f/2.67 aperture. Rounding up the cameras are a 50-megapixel ultra-wide and 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The standard X200 features a 6.67-inch 120hz quad curved AMOLED display with an optical fingerprint scanner. It gets a 5800mAh battery with support for 90w wired charging, and its camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel, 1/1.56-inch IMX921 main camera with a f/1.57 aperture, a 50-megapixel IMX882 telephoto camera with a 70mm focal length equivalent and f/2.57 aperture, and the same ultra-wide and selfie cameras as the Pro models.
The entire X200 series can shoot 4K video at 120FPS and support 10-bit LOG recording and 4K HDR Cinematic Portrait video.
The X200 starts at CNY 4299(~Php 35k) for the 12GB/256GB model, while the X200 Pro Mini starts at CNY 4699(~Php 39k) for the same variant. The X200 Pro starts at CNY 5299(~Php 44k) for the same 12GB/256GB configuration.
Here’s where things get interesting: vivo Philippines confirms that the X200 Pro series is arriving in the country soon, which is highly anticipated since the X80 Pro was the last X series model that arrived locally.
