RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Authorities were responding Sunday to a fast-moving vegetation fire south of Beaumont, according to officials.
The blaze was reported around 4:30 p.m. in the area of Jack Rabbit Trail and Highway 60, according to CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department, which noted that firefighters were on the scene, where 150 acres were burning rapidly in the hills.
Multiple air and ground resources were assigned to the fire, and there were no injuries or evacuations as of around 6 p.m., authorities said.
