We are heading into Week 6 of the NFL schedule and the season is just rolling by. This year we’ve already seen some incredible matchups and performances by players around the league.
Heading into this new week, there are some really important games on the schedule. But who will win each game?
Luckily for you, the staff at NewsweekSports has you covered.
Here are expert predictions for each game and how we see things shaking out this week.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs Chicago Bears
This game will be played in London and both sides could use a win this week. Jacksonville finally got their first win of the season last week and will be trying to build upon it. The Bears looked strong last week in a win and will try to make it keep things rolling against a team that has been struggling early in the year. Both sides have the players to make this a fun contest so we could be in for a good game.

Washington Commanders vs Baltimore Ravens
The Commanders have been one of the better surprises this season, starting the year out 4-1. Behind rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, Washington’s offense has looked like one of the better units in the league. However, they get their biggest test this week in a Ravens team that has found their footing. If Washington can win this game, it would solidify their claim as one of the best teams in the NFL, but it won’t be easy.

Arizona Cardinals vs Green Bay Packers
Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has been playing well this season but heading to Lambeau Field is no joke. Green Bay got back on track last week with a grind-it-out win over the Los Angeles Rams and will try to keep things going. Jordan Love looked healthy after being out for a few weeks so the Super Bowl plans in Green Bay are back on. Next up for them is the Cardinals, who have shown fight this season.

Houston Texans vs New England Patriots
The Patriots will be starting rookie quarterback Drake Maye in this game, his first-ever career start. He will try to get New England back on track after multiple losses in a row. The Texans will try to move to 5-1 on the year and stake their claim as a top team in the NFL. Both sides have something to prove this weekend, even if they mean different things for the season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints
The Buccaneers are dealing with the fallout of Hurricane Milton hitting the city. The team left Tampa Bay earlier in the week to avoid the storm but the players all have their minds on their town. Getting a win would help things and they will be trying to take down a division rival in the process. New Orleans knows all about playing football games after a hurricane but they won’t just let Tampa Bay get the victory this week.

Cleveland Browns vs Philadelphia Eagles
The Browns are coming off a poor loss to the Commanders and they are reeling. They sit with a record of 1-4 on the year and will be playing a rested Eagles team. Philadelphia hasn’t looked great this season but this could be a chance to change that fact. Both sides need a win badly but only one can emerge victorious in this bout.

Indianapolis Colts vs Tennessee Titans
The Titans are coming off a bye week while the Colts are dealing with all sorts of injuries. Indianapolis dropped their game last week against the Jaguars and will try to win this without the services of some key players. Star running back Jonathan Taylor is out while quarterback Anthony Richardson is questionable. Tennessee hasn’t looked overly great this season but they’ve shown enough to make this game a fair fight.

Los Angeles Chargers vs Denver Broncos
We have an AFC West showdown in Denver this week. Both sides will try to take the other day with the Chargers coming off a bye week. Denver has won three straight games and will try to keep things going strong. This could be a low-scoring affair with it being a rivalry and both sides having a tough defensive unit.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Las Vegas Raiders
The Steelers are coming off two straight losses but a date with the Raiders could be what they need. Las Vegas has struggled offensively this season and the Steelers have thrived off their defensive unit. The Raiders won’t just back down though as they’ve been fairly gritty this season. We could be in for a back-and-forth contest, depending on which version of Las Vegas shows up.

Atlanta Falcons vs Carolina Panthers
Carolina has looked a little more competitive since they benched Bryce Young for veteran Andy Dalton. However, the Panthers will need to show some fight in this game as they face off against a strong Falcons team. Quarterback Kirk Cousins looks all the way back from his injury and has Atlanta rocking. This divisional matchup should be a fun game, with both teams looking to make different statements.

Detroit Lions vs Dallas Cowboys
This is a potential playoff preview and the Lions will be looking to continue their season of redemption. Dallas got a big win last week over the Steelers and will try to keep things going strong. Detroit won’t make things easy and Dallas will need to show that they can beat a team like the Lions. Playing at home, the Cowboys will have their loyal fans behind them but will it be enough to get the victory?

Cincinnati Bengals vs New York Giants
The Bengals enter this game sitting with a record of 1-4 despite quarterback Joe Burrow playing at an MVP level this year. It’s been a disappointing season for them but there is still time to turn things around. It has to start this week against New York, who will be trying to even their record up at 3-3. A primetime slot for this matchup is a little odd but the schedule makers may know something that we don’t when it comes to this game.
