If you were trying to watch Friday night’s Vancouver Canucks vs. Philadelphia Flyers game on Sportnet’s Sportsnet+ streaming service but ran into an issue saying you weren’t allowed to access the feed, you weren’t alone.

Scores of Canucks fans reported the problem on social media, as their feed suddenly stopped and Sportsnet instead informed them that “Sportsnet+ is only supported in Canada. (error 15).”
Vancouver resident Simon Little said he got the message with about 10 minutes left in the third period and was very frustrated.
“It never came back,” he said.

A Sportsnet+ subscription costs more than $200 a year, he pointed out. He expected better service from the NHL’s Canadian streaming partner.

Glacier Media’s Daniel Wagner was attempting to access a replay on his computer in the actual building and couldn’t get access. The arena, Rogers Arena, is of course sponsored by the very company, Rogers, that owns Sportsnet.

As of late Friday, Sportsnet PR had not yet responded to a request for comment.
