Can we finally stop saying Serie A is defensive and boring? That idea might’ve been true like 20 years ago, but it’s so outdated now.
The new generation of coaches—like Spalletti, Pioli, De Zerbi and many others—have completely changed the way Italian teams play. Now it’s all about attacking football, pressing high, possession, and lots of goals.
Serie A today is one of the most exciting leagues in Europe. So yeah, maybe it’s time to stop with the "catenaccio" stereotype. What do you guys think?
