LONG ISLAND, NY —A Long Island man has been arrested in connection with stabbing two men at a bar in the early morning hours of Thanksgiving, Suffolk police said.
A group of people began to fight at around 12:20 a.m. at the Village Idiot Pub on East Main Street in Patchogue, when police say Brandon Weyer stabbed the two others.
Both men were taken to a local hospital and are expected to recover, police said.

Weyer, 30, of Shirley was charged with two counts of second-degree assault, according to police.
