1. Petroleum products from the Port Harcourt Refinery Company (PHRC) are exclusively for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) for now, the oil giant said on Wednesday. The products – petrol, diesel and kerosene – are for retail outlets operated by the NNPCL, Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, said.
2. A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory on Wednesday reserved a ruling on the bail application of former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello till December 10. 5. The Naira on Wednesday appreciated to N1,745 per dollar in the parallel market from N1,755 per dollar on Tuesday. But the Naira depreciated to N1,660.83 per dollar in the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market, NAFEM.
6. The House of Representatives on Wednesday asked its Committees on Finance, Petroleum (Upstream and Downstream) to investigate reports from the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Responsibility Commission “alleging that the NNPCL withheld N8.48tn as claimed subsidies for petrol.”
7. Kwara State Police Command has said that it arrested two suspects allegedly found with a recovered stolen Toyota Camry Car in the state. The police command, in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ejire-Adeyemi Toun, on Wednesday, said the car with Registration. No. APP 443 CX which was reportedly stolen in Lagos, was found in the Ipata-Oloje area in Ilorin.
