In a rematch of the Pro Kabaddi League 2021/22 final, Dabang Delhi KC will take on Patna Pirates at the Noida Indoor Stadium tonight. It is the Revenge Week of PKL 11, and Patna will aim to avenge the defeat they suffered against Delhi in the eighth edition’s summit clash.
Dabang Delhi KC and Patna Pirates battled once earlier this season as well. The match happened during the Hyderabad leg of Pro Kabaddi League 2024, where the Pirates recorded an easy 44-30 win. Devank Dalal was the hero for the Pirates in that game, scoring 12 points.
All eyes will be on Devank once again when the two finalists of season eight clash at the Noida Indoor Stadium. Before the Dabang Delhi KC vs Patna Pirates match begins, here’s a look at three players Dream11 users can pick as captain or vice-captain.
#1 Devank Dalal, Patna Pirates
Devank Dalal has been the most successful raider of Pro Kabaddi League 2024 so far. He holds the number one position on the raiders’ leaderboard, having earned 149 raid points for the Patna Pirates.
As mentioned earlier, Devank was the difference-maker when Patna Pirates took on Dabang Delhi KC during the Hyderabad leg of the competition. The in-form raider could emerge as the game-changer for Patna once again. Very few teams have been able to stop the Patna raider in PKL 11 so far.
A Super 10 should be on the cards for Devank tonight, making him the best choice for captaincy or vice-captaincy in fantasy contests among all Patna Pirates players.
#2 Ashu Malik, Dabang Delhi KC
This match will be a battle between the top two raiders of Pro Kabaddi League 2024. While Devank Dalal is first on the leaderboard with 149 raid points, Ashu Malik is right behind him with 148 raid points.
Even Ashu scored a Super 10 when Dabang Delhi KC battled against the Patna Pirates during the Hyderabad leg. Four out of 10 points scored by Ashu were bonus points in that game, showing that the Patna defense could not stop him from entering deep in their half and scoring points.
A majority of fantasy users will likely go in with a combination of Ashu Malik and Devank Dalal as captain and vice-captain for tonight’s Pro Kabaddi League 2024 contest.
#3 Ayan Lohchab, Patna Pirates
Another raider who is worthy to be selected as captain or vice-captain in the fantasy contests for tonight’s PKL match is Ayan Lohchab from Patna Pirates. Even Ayan recorded a Super 10 for Patna in their last match against Dabang Delhi KC.
While Ayan is not at the top of the raiders’ leaderboard like Ashu Malik and Devank Dalal, he has played a major role in Patna’s wins by supporting Devank to perfection. Besides, Ayan can contribute a fair bit in the defense as well. For the record, Ayan scored 10 touch points, one bonus point and one tackle point against Delhi in Hyderabad.
