HKSAR gov't slams U.S. politicians for defaming Hong Kong's reputation as int'l financial center

HONG KONG, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) — The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government has strongly disapproved of and firmly rejected malicious slandering of Hong Kong’s reputation as an international financial center, a spokesperson for the HKSAR government said on Tuesday.

The denunciation came after a recent letter from members of the House of Representatives of the United States to the U.S. Secretary
