OPPO has officially launched the Reno13 series in China, and it appears to be significantly better than itsย predecessor. The Reno13 and Reno13 Pro use a Dimensity 8350, an OPPO-specific custom version of the Dimensity 8300.
Both phones also get an IP69 rating and a custom X1 chip for improving wireless connectivity. Both also get an IMX890 main camera and 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, with the former capable of shooting 4K video at 60FPS, along with a 50-megapixel selfie camera, optical under-display fingerprint scanner, and support for 80w wired and 50w wireless charging.
The Reno13 Pro adds a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and support for 4K60 video recording, a 6.83-inch 120hz AMOLED display, and a 5800mAh battery. The regular Reno13, on the other hand, has a 6.59-inch 120hz AMOLED display and a slightly smaller 5600mAh battery. Both phones come with Android 15-based ColorOS 15 out of the box.
The Reno13 starts at CNY 2699(~Php 22k) for the 12GB/256GB variant, while the Pro model starts at CNY 3399(~Php 28k) for the same variant. Both will go on sale in China on November 29. We expect the Reno13 to go global soon, and we hope OPPO gives us the same ones that were launched in China.
