Russian President Vladimir Putin changes the rules for using nuclear weapons.
Now, Russia can use nuclear attacks to respond to non-nuclear attacks. Before, nuclear weapons are only for extreme situations. This change happens after Ukraine uses US rockets deep in Russia’s land.
Ukraine’s President Zelensky says that Putin should talk about ending the war, not nuclear attacks. Experts say that nuclear war may start. But the US does not change its nuclear plans now.
Russia’s soldiers are moving faster than before. The war is in a dangerous stage. Western leaders promise to keep helping Ukraine.
