The fire is under investigation but is believed to have started inside a dryer, according to police, who said the home suffered minimal damage.
“We would especially like to recognize the life saving efforts of Officers Michael Costello and Nicholas Tschepikiewski in rescuing the occupant of the home,” Horsham Community Police Services said in a social media post on the Horsham ChATs Facebook page. “They both put themselves in harm’s way to save the life of another.”
