Budget phones have started offering 256GB at the under Php 10k price point, but nubia is taking things a step further with the V70 Design and its Php 5,299 price tag for 256GB storage. Without factoring any promo price, this is the most affordable phone you can buy with 256GB of internal storage.
So what do you get for Php 5,299 aside from 256GB storage? You get a meager 4GB RAM, which should be enough for light to medium users, along with a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS display with a 120hz refresh rate and a punch-hole for a 16-megapixel selfie camera. While you only get a Unisoc T606 processor, nubia claims that the V70 Design has AI features like AI Magic Eraser and Magic Editor. We think its AI capabilities are feasible since you do get a 50-megapixel main camera.
Keeping the lights on is a 5000mAh battery that supports 22.5w USB-C charging, and it comes with Android 14-based MyOS 14 out of the box. Other features of the V70 Design include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, DTS Audio, and Live Island 2.0.
The V70 Design is listed for pre-order in Shopee, with official sales beginning on November 28.
