MVRDV has updated its progress on the adaptive reuse of the Dutch Expo 2000 Pavilion in the German city of Hannover. The project will yield two new buildings surrounding the renovated pavilion—an original MVRDV design that’s set to be transformed into a co-working office facility with a third-floor garden, maintaining the “stacked landscape” concept critical to the original. The pavilion had sat abandoned for 23 years before construction began.
