Apple is now selling refurbished iPad 10 through its online store in the US.
Buying a refurbished iPad will help you save an additional 15% off the device’s MSRP.
Apple’s refurbished store makes the iPad 10 even more affordable
Apple launched the iPad 10 in October 2022, featuring an A14 Bionic chip. In May this year, Apple cut the tablet’s price to $349, making it cheaper by $100.
If you buy a Certified Refurbished 10th-generation iPad from Apple, you can save an extra 10% on it. Apple’s online store lists the tablet for $299, with the higher storage variant getting a bigger $80 discount. The store currently does not have the cellular variant listed for sale.
As of now, Apple is only selling refurbished iPad 10s in the US. The company typically starts selling refurbished units of new high-end iPads and Macs a few months after they initially go on sale. However, the iPad 10’s journey to the Certified Refurbished store has been unusually long, arriving a full two years after its initial launch.
If the iPad 10 variant or color you want is not listed on Apple’s Certified Refurbished store, check regularly every few days. Apple updates its online store with new stock multiple times every week.
Admittedly, you should check out Amazon and other retailers as they offer a bigger discount on a new iPad 10.
Apple’s standard warranty covers refurbished iPad 10s
There are several advantages to buying an Apple Certified Refurbished product. All devices come with a standard one-year warranty, with the option to extend coverage through AppleCare+.
Apple also cleans and inspects every device and replaces its battery. All refurbished Apple products ship in a white box with a cable.
