Route 22 East Reopens After Crash, Debris Spill On Somerset, Union County Border

Update: Route 22 has since reopened.

WATCHUNG, NJ — A motor vehicle crash and debris spill is being reported on Route 22 East in Watchung on Friday morning.

The crash is located near Terrill Road and has caused one left lane to close.

Watchung Police sent out an alert on Friday around 6 a.m. warning drivers to expect delays.
